Notice of intention to acquire land by compulsory process
11 Notice of intention to acquire land by compulsory process
(1) An authority of the State may not acquire land by compulsory process
unless the authority has given the owners of the land written notice of its
intention to do so.
(2) The authority of the State is not prevented from
acquiring the land by agreement after giving the proposed acquisition notice.
