Relationship of Law to constitution of, or legislation establishing, incorporated legal practice
112 Relationship of Law to constitution of, or legislation establishing,
incorporated legal practice
(1) The provisions of this Law or the Uniform Rules that apply to an
incorporated legal practice prevail, to the extent of any inconsistency, over
the constitution or other constituent documents of the practice.
(2) The
provisions of this Law or the Uniform Rules that apply to an incorporated
legal practice prevail, to the extent of any inconsistency, over provisions of
the legislation by or under which the corporation is established or regulated
that are specified or described in the Uniform Rules.
(3) Subsection (2)
applies to a corporation that is established by or under a law (whether or not
of this jurisdiction) with power to engage in legal practice, but is not a
company within the meaning of the Corporations Act.
