LEGAL PROFESSION UNIFORM LAW (NSW) - SECT 165
Investigator's report
165 Investigator's report
(1) As soon as practicable after completing an external investigation, the
investigator must give a written report of the investigation to the designated
local regulatory authority.
(2) The investigator must not disclose
information contained in the report or acquired in carrying out the external
investigation except-- (a) to the law practice or person who is a subject of
the investigation or report; or
(b) as is necessary for properly conducting
the investigation and making the report of the investigation; or
(c) as
provided in section 462.
Penalty: 50 penalty units.
