Rules of procedural fairness
319 Rules of procedural fairness
(1) The rules of procedural fairness, to the extent that they are not
inconsistent with the provisions of this Law or the Uniform Rules, apply in
relation to-- (a) the investigation and determination of complaints by the
designated local regulatory authority; and
(b) the making of other decisions
by the designated local regulatory authority in respect of complaints; and
(c) the procedures of the designated local regulatory authority in respect of
complaints and any associated matters.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply in
relation to a decision of the designated local regulatory authority that the
whole or part of a complaint should be resolved by the exercise of functions
relating to consumer matters (see section 269(1)).
