LEGAL PROFESSION UNIFORM LAW (NSW) - SECT 382

382 Application and operation of this Part

(1) This Part applies to--

(a) trust records investigations; and

(b) compliance audits; and

(c) complaint investigations--

conducted in relation to incorporated legal practices.

(2) An investigator conducting an investigation or audit to which this Part applies may exercise the powers set out in this Part.

(3) The provisions of this Part are additional to the other provisions of this Chapter.

Note: Section 466 contains provisions relating to compliance with a requirement of this Part to produce documents, provide information or do anything else under this Part.
