MINING ACT 1992 - SECT 187

187 Agricultural land

(1) A mineral claim may not, except with the written consent of the landholder, be granted over any land that, as a consequence of an objection to the granting of the claim, has been determined to be agricultural land in accordance with Schedule 2.

(2) This section does not prevent a mineral claim from being granted over land merely because an objection to the granting of the claim has been made on the basis that the land is agricultural land.
