Rights under mineral claim
195 Rights under mineral claim
(1) The holder of a mineral claim granted in respect of a mineral or minerals
may, in accordance with the conditions of the claim, prospect for that mineral
or those minerals and mine that mineral or those minerals.
(1A) The holder of
a mineral claim may, subject to the conditions of the claim, also do any of
the following in connection with any prospecting or mining authorised by
subsection (1)- (a) erect any buildings and structures,
(b) exercise any
rights in the nature of easements,
(c) remove from the claim area any timber,
stone or gravel,
(d) carry out any ancillary mining activity.
(1B) The
holder of a mineral claim granted in respect of an ancillary mining activity
or activities only may, in accordance with the conditions of the claim, carry
out the ancillary mining activity or activities specified in the certificate
relating to the claim.
