MINING ACT 1992 - SECT 245
Clearing away of mining plant
(1) The holder of an authority or mineral claim over land that ceases to be
subject to the authority or claim-- (a) may, within the prescribed period, and
(b) must, if directed to do so by the Minister by notice in writing, within
the period specified in the notice,
cause to be removed from the land any
mining plant brought onto, or erected on, that land in the course of mining
operations carried out under the authority or claim.
(2) The Minister may
give a direction under this section even though the prescribed period has not
expired.
