MINING ACT 1992 - SECT 51A

51A Notice of application for mining lease

(1) Within 14 days (or such other period as may be prescribed by the regulations) after lodging an application for a mining lease, the applicant must cause notice of the application to be published in the way specified by the regulations.

(2) The notice must--

(a) state that an application for a mining lease has been lodged, and

(b) contain a plan of the proposed mining area, and

(c) comply with any other requirements that are prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this subsection.
