MOTOR ACCIDENTS COMPENSATION ACT 1999 - SECT 45
Special requirements relating to Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines relating to impairment
(1) This section applies to Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines that relate to
the assessment of the degree of permanent impairment of an injured person as a
result of an injury caused by a motor accident.
(2) Any such
Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines are to be issued within 3 months after the
commencement of this Act.
(3) Any such Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines may
adopt the provisions of another publication only as in force at a time before
the issue of the guidelines.
(4) Section 40 (Notice of statutory rules to be
tabled) and section 41 (Disallowance of statutory rules) of the
Interpretation Act 1987 apply to any such Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines.
