MOTOR DEALERS AND REPAIRERS ACT 2013 - SECT 17
Holding out
17 Holding out
(1) A person must not hold himself or herself out as the holder of a licence
if the person is not the holder of such a licence.
(2) A person must not hold
himself or herself out as a person who is authorised to do a class of
repair work if the person is not the holder of a tradesperson's certificate
authorising that class of repair work.
: Maximum penalty--20 penalty units.
