MOTOR DEALERS AND REPAIRERS ACT 2013 - SECT 6
Motor vehicle repairers
(1) In this Act,
"motor vehicle repairer" means a person who carries on the business of
carrying out repair work on motor vehicles.
(2) In this Act,
"repair work" means work of a class or classes prescribed by the regulations
for the purposes of this section.
(3) A person is not a
motor vehicle repairer if the person carries out repair work only in the
course of employment with another person or on the person's own motor vehicle.
(4) This Act does not apply to any part of the business of a
motor vehicle repairer that involves repairs that are not repair work.
