Conditions that may be imposed by Tribunal on release of forensic patients
85 Conditions that may be imposed by Tribunal on release of forensic patients
(1) The Tribunal may impose conditions relating to the following matters on
orders for release made by it in relation to a forensic patient-- (a) the
appointment of a case manager, psychiatrist or other health care professional
to assist in the care and treatment of the patient,
(b) the care, treatment
and review of the patient by persons referred to in paragraph (a), including
home visits to the patient,
(c) medication,
(d) accommodation and living
conditions,
(e) enrolment and participation in educational, training,
rehabilitation, recreational, therapeutic or other programs,
(f) the use or
non-use of alcohol and other drugs,
(g) drug testing and other medical tests,
(h) agreements as to conduct,
(i) association or non-association with victims
or members of victims' families,
(j) prohibitions or restrictions on
frequenting or visiting places,
(k) overseas or interstate travel,
(l)
requirements for the purposes of monitoring (including by electronic means)
compliance with the conditions of release.
(2) This section does not limit
the matters in relation to which a condition may be imposed.
