PETROLEUM (ONSHORE) ACT 1991 - SECT 30

30 Area of exploration licence

(1) The area comprised in an exploration licence must be--

(a) not more than 140 blocks, and

(b) not less than 1 block, except in cases where for special reasons the Minister considers that a smaller area is necessary or desirable.

Note : Section 19B makes provision for the size of the area over which the renewal of an exploration licence may be granted.
