Insurance
39 Insurance
(1) The holder of a paintball venue permit must maintain a policy of public
liability insurance in an approved form that provides cover for public
liability incurred in connection with the operation of the paintball venue,
being a policy that provides for cover for an amount of not less than
$10,000,000 or such other amount as may be prescribed by the regulations.
(2)
If children or young persons under 18 years of age are permitted to possess or
use a paintball marker at the paintball venue or enter the
paintball game area, the insurance policy must cover those children and young
persons.
(3) The holder of a paintball venue permit must not permit a person
to use a paintball marker at the paintball venue at any time during which a
policy of insurance as required by this section is not in force.
