Savings of protections granted during COVID-19 pandemic
88 Savings of protections granted during COVID-19 pandemic
(1) The
Retail and Other Commercial Leases (COVID-19 Regulation (No 3) 2020 continues
to apply, despite the repeal of that regulation, to anything occurring in
relation to a lease while the lease was an impacted lease within the meaning
of that regulation.
(1A) The Retail and Other Commercial Leases (COVID-19)
Regulation 2022 continues to apply, despite the repeal of that regulation, to
anything occurring in relation to a lease while the lease was an impacted
lease within the meaning of that regulation.
(2) Schedule 5 to the
Conveyancing (General) Regulation 2018 continues to apply, despite the repeal
of that Schedule, to anything occurring in relation to a lease while the lease
was an impacted lease within the meaning of that Schedule.
(3) The
regulations may provide for exemptions from this section.
