RAIL SAFETY NATIONAL LAW (NSW) - SECT 136
Identity cards
136 Identity cards
(1) The Regulator must give each rail safety officer an identity card that
states the person's name and appointment as a rail safety officer and includes
any other matter prescribed by the national regulations.
(2) A
rail safety officer must produce his or her identity card for inspection on
request when exercising a function under this Law.
(3) If a person to whom an
identity card has been issued ceases to be a rail safety officer, the person
must return the identity card to the Regulator as soon as practicable.
