RAIL SAFETY NATIONAL LAW (NSW) - SECT 229
Stopping a train or tram
229 Stopping a train or tram
(1) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, cause or attempt to cause a
train or tram in motion to be stopped. : Maximum penalty--$10 000.
(2)
Subsection (1) places an evidential burden on the accused to show a reasonable
excuse.
