RAIL SAFETY NATIONAL LAW (NSW) - SECT 81
Keeping and making available records for public inspection
81 Keeping and making available records for public inspection
(1) A person must ensure that-- (a) if the person is an accredited person or
has an exemption under this Law--the current notice of accreditation or
exemption; and
(b) any other document prescribed by the national regulations
for the purposes of this section,
are available for inspection-- (c) if the
person is a body corporate--at the person's registered office during ordinary
business hours;
(d) if the person is not a body corporate--at the person's
principal place of business during ordinary business hours (or, if the
Regulator approves another place and time, at that place and time).
: Maximum
penalty-- (a) in the case of an individual--$5 000;
(b) in the case of a body
corporate--$25 000.
(2) A person who is required under subsection (1) to make
available documents for inspection must maintain a register of those documents
for inspection. : Maximum penalty-- (a) in the case of an individual--$5 000;
(b) in the case of a body corporate--$25 000.
