TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT 1988 - SECT 38F
Establishment of Sydney Metro Board
(1) There is to be a board of directors of Sydney Metro.
(2) The
Sydney Metro Board is to consist of at least 3, not more than 7, directors to
be appointed by the Minister.
(3) The Transport Secretary may appoint 1
further director to the Sydney Metro Board.
(4) The directors are to be
persons who, in the opinion of the Minister or Transport Secretary (as
appropriate), have skills and experience relevant to the administration of
Sydney Metro and that will assist Sydney Metro in exercising its functions.
(5) Of the directors appointed by the Minister, one is, in and by the
instrument of appointment or another instrument made by the Minister, to be
appointed as Chairperson of the Sydney Metro Board.
(6) Schedule 2B sets out
provisions relating to the constitution and procedure of the
Sydney Metro Board.
