Crown's right to dismiss not abrogated
97 Crown's right to dismiss not abrogated
(1) Subject to subsection (3), nothing in this Act shall be construed or held
to abrogate or restrict the right or power of the Crown to dispense with the
services of any person employed in the Teaching Service.
(2) An officer or
temporary employee of the Teaching Service shall not be entitled to any
compensation by reason of any reduction in salary or of his or her services
being dispensed with, whether under this section or otherwise.
(3)
Subsections (1) and (2) do not apply so as to affect the rights, under any
other Act, of any person whose salary has been reduced or whose services have
been dispensed with to appeal against the decision or determination reducing
the person's salary or dispensing with the person's services or to be
reinstated to the Teaching Service.
