Reimbursement of workers for travelling expenses associated with medical examinations
9A Reimbursement of workers for travelling expenses associated with medical
examinations
(1) A worker who is required under this Act to submit for a medical
examination is entitled to be reimbursed by the Authority for-- (a) the amount
of any wages lost by the worker by reason of submitting for examination, and
(b) the costs of any fares, travelling expenses and maintenance necessarily
and reasonably incurred in submitting for examination.
(2) The regulations
may make provision for or with respect to payments to workers by the Authority
under this section.
