President may deal with dispute
304B President may deal with dispute
(1) The President may determine the dispute instead of the Commission.
(2)
For the purposes of determining the dispute, the President has all the
functions of the Commission under the Workers Compensation Acts and any
determination of the President is taken to be the determination of the
Commission. Note--: The President has power under section 18 of the
Personal Injury Commission Act 2020 to delegate the President's function under
this Act to certain members and registrars of the Commission.
(3) This
Division does not affect any jurisdiction of the Commission to determine a
dispute involving weekly payments of compensation.
