318D Powers of mediators

(1) For the purposes of and in connection with the mediation of a claim, a mediator has all the functions of the Commission under sections 49- 51 of the Personal Injury Commission Act 2020 and those sections apply in respect of the mediation of a claim in the same way as they apply in respect of proceedings on a dispute before the Commission.

(2) A mediator may award costs in connection with the mediation of a claim.
