102 Decision on reconsideration of revocation

(1) The Registrar of the Children's Court must send written notice of a decision of the Children's Court following a reconsideration under Division 7 of Part 4C of the Act of the revocation of a parole order to the centre manager of the detention centre in which the juvenile offender is kept.

(2) As soon as practicable after receiving the notice, the centre manager must ensure that--

(a) the notice is read to the juvenile offender, and

(b) the effect of the notice is explained to the juvenile offender in language that is capable of being readily understood by the juvenile offender, and

(c) the juvenile offender's rights concerning the decision are explained to the juvenile offender in language that is capable of being readily understood by the juvenile offender.

(3) The Registrar of the Children's Court must send a copy of the notice to the Secretary.
