FIREARMS REGULATION 2017 - REG 55
Recognition of interstate minor's firearms permits
55 Recognition of interstate minor's firearms permits
(1) This clause applies to any person who-- (a) is of or above the age of 12
years (but is under the age of 18 years), and
(b) is a resident of another
State or Territory, and
(c) is the holder of the equivalent of a minor's
firearms permit issued under the law in force in that other State or
Territory.
(2) A person to whom this clause applies is authorised to possess
and use a firearm without the authority of a minor's firearms permit under the
Act, but only for the purposes of-- (a) competing in an approved event, or
(b) receiving safe instruction in the use of the firearm.
(3) A person to
whom this clause applies is not authorised to use a firearm unless the person
is under the supervision of another person who is authorised to use that
firearm with supervision of the person to be as required by clause 156.
