Display of signs when doing work requiring development consent
32 Display of signs when doing work requiring development consent
(1) A licensee must prominently display a sign on land if the licensee is
doing residential building work on that land-- (a) that requires development
consent, and
(b) that is authorised by the licence.
: Maximum penalty--20
penalty units in the case of a corporation and 10 penalty units in any other
case.
(2) The sign must show the following in clear and legible characters--
(a) the name of the licensee shown on the contractor licence,
(b) the words "licensed contractor" or words to that effect,
(c) the number
of the contractor licence held by the licensee.
(3) This clause does not
apply to the holder of a contractor licence-- (a) who contracts to do work
that has been authorised by an owner-builder permit, or
(b) who has entered
into a contract with the principal contractor to do the work concerned.
