ROAD RULES 2014 - REG 277

Proceeding after stopping for a red or yellow T light

277 Proceeding after stopping for a red or yellow T light

The driver of a tram who stops for T lights showing a red or yellow T light must not proceed until--

(a) a white T light is showing, or
(b) no T light is showing and traffic lights at or near the T lights are showing a green traffic light.
: Maximum penalty--20 penalty units.

"Green traffic light" ,
"red T light" ,
"traffic lights" ,
"white T light" and
"yellow T light" are defined in the Dictionary. A diagram of a white T light is shown in rule 278.
