WORKERS COMPENSATION REGULATION 2016 - REG 115

115 Interest on amount outstanding

(1) The Commission may, in an assessment, determine that interest is not payable on the amount of costs assessed or on any part of that amount and determine the rate of interest (not exceeding the rate referred to in section 195(4) of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW) ).

(2) This clause applies despite any costs agreement or section 195 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW) .

(3) This clause does not authorise the giving of interest on interest.

(4) This clause does not apply to or in respect of the assessment of costs referred to in Subdivision 3 (Assessment of party/party costs).
