Certificate of authority: section 104N

28 Certificate of authority: section 104N

(1) The certificate must be signed by the Secretary (or by the Secretary's delegate, if issued under delegation) and must include the following particulars:
(a) a statement to the effect that it is issued under the Petroleum (Onshore) Act 1991 ,
(b) the name of the person to whom it is issued,
(c) the nature of the powers it confers.
(2) For the purpose of authorising a person to exercise a power conferred by Part 9 of the Act, the Secretary may issue the person with a certificate of authority.
(3) Such a certificate is the form of evidence required for the purposes of section 104N (1) (b) of the Act.
