This legislation has been repealed.
(1) The certificate must be signed by the Secretary (or by the Secretary's delegate, if issued under delegation) and must include the following particulars:(a) a statement to the effect that it is issued under the Petroleum (Onshore) Act 1991 ,(b) the name of the person to whom it is issued,(c) the nature of the powers it confers.
(2) For the purpose of authorising a person to exercise a power conferred by Part 9 of the Act, the Secretary may issue the person with a certificate of authority.
(3) Such a certificate is the form of evidence required for the purposes of section 104N (1) (b) of the Act.
