New South Wales Repealed Regulations New South Wales Repealed RegulationsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) Despite anything to the contrary in this Division, the Commissioner:(a) may confirm the appointment of probationary constable, or(b) may promote a constable to the grade of senior constable,on the basis of exceptional bravery or specially meritorious service.
(2) A police officer whose appointment is confirmed or who is promoted under this clause is not eligible for a further promotion until any prescribed qualifications for the grade up to and including that of the further promotion have been satisfied.
