This legislation has been repealed.
(1) A strata managing agent must permit, on demand made at any reasonable time, any member of the council of an owners corporation for whom the agent acts as managing agent to inspect any records or books of account of the owners corporation.
(2) A strata managing agent must, within 14 days of being appointed by an owners corporation to act as managing agent, give to the owners corporation a written authority directing the bank, building society or credit union or any other person or body with which any money of the owners corporation is invested to disclose to a member of the council of the owners corporation, at the request of the member, any information relating to that money.
Maximum penalty: 40 penalty units in the case of a corporation or 20 penalty units in any other case.
