This legislation has been repealed.
(1) When the Director-General notifies an applicant in writing of its decision under section 39AA (3) of the Act, the Director-General must at the same time notify the reviewing officer in writing of that decision.
(2) Notice of an appeal pursuant to section 39AA (4) of the Act must be given to the Clerk of the Local Court referred to in that subsection.
(3) On receipt of a notice of appeal, the Clerk of the Local Court must:(a) set the appeal down for hearing before the Local Court, and(b) forward to the Director-General and the reviewing officer a copy of the notice of appeal given to the Clerk, and(c) forward to the Director-General, the reviewing officer and the appellant a notice specifying the time, date and place fixed for the hearing of the appeal.
