PASSENGER TRANSPORT (PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE SERVICES) REGULATION 2001 - REG 25

No plying or standing for hire

25 No plying or standing for hire

The driver of a private hire vehicle must not:

(a) ply or stand the vehicle for hire on any road or road-related area, or
(b) use the vehicle to carry out a hiring other than a pre-booked hiring.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
