New South Wales Repealed Regulations New South Wales Repealed RegulationsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) The operator of a bus must (unless otherwise advised by written notice of the Director-General) maintain a policy of insurance issued by an authorised insurer providing cover of at least $200,000 against liability in respect of damage to property caused by or arising out of the use of the bus.Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(2) In this clause, "authorised insurer" means a corporation authorised under the Insurance Act 1973 of the Commonwealth to carry on insurance business.
