STOCK DISEASES (NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS) REGULATION 2000 - REG 6

6 Notice of proposed appointment

(1) Whenever a PSA member is required to be appointed, the Secretary must cause notice of that fact to be published in the Public Service Notices.

(2) The notice:

(a) must specify that a PSA member is required to be appointed, and

(b) must call for nominations of candidates, and

(c) must fix the time and date for the close of nominations, and

(d) must advise where nomination forms may be obtained and where nominations may be lodged, and

(e) must specify the qualifications that qualify a person to nominate a candidate.

(3) The date fixed for the close of nominations must be not earlier than 21 days, or later than 28 days, after the date on which the notice is first published.
