This legislation has been repealed.
(1) For the purposes of section 159 of the 1987 Act, a policy of insurance (except one to which subclause (2) applies):(a) must contain the provisions specified in Schedule 3, and(b) may contain any other provisions, but only if those provisions have been agreed on by the insurer and employer concerned and approved by the Authority.
(2) A policy of insurance issued or renewed so as to take effect before 31 December 1995 must contain the provisions that were specified in Form 7 in the Workers Compensation (General) Regulation 1987 immediately before its repeal, except that:(a) the words "independently of this Act (being a liability under a law of New South Wales)" in the third paragraph of the Form are to be deleted and the words "independently of this Act (but not including a liability for compensation in the nature of workers compensation arising under any Act or other law of another State, a Territory or the Commonwealth or a liability arising under the law of another country)" are to be inserted instead, and(b) such a policy may contain other provisions, but only if those provisions have been agreed on by the insurer and employer concerned and approved by the Authority.
