An Act to amend the Mental Health and Related Services Act

The Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory enacts as follows:

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Mental Health and Related Services Amendment Act 2013.

2 Act amended

This Act amends the Mental Health and Related Services Act.

3 Section 133 amended

After section 133(2)

insert

(3) The Tribunal is not required to comply with the rules of evidence and may inform itself of any relevant matter in any way it considers appropriate.

4 Expiry of Act

This Act expires on the day after it commences.
