Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Before an audit of a building practitioner is conducted, the auditor must give the practitioner such notice of the audit as is reasonable, having regard to:
(a) the nature of the audit; and
(b) the urgency or otherwise of the audit.
(2) The notice may be written or oral.
(3) If oral, the notice must be confirmed in writing by the auditor as soon as possible.
