Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The CEO may temporarily close a Government school if the CEO considers it appropriate to do so:
(a) because of a short-term risk to the safety or welfare of staff or students at the school; or
(b) for cultural reasons; or
(c) for any other reason.
(2) The power conferred by subsection (1) may be exercised in respect of part of a Government school.
(3) This section does not affect the operation of the Emergency Management Act 2013 .
