Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A person commits an offence if the person:
(a) represents, by words or conduct, that the person or another person is an authorised officer; and
(b) the representation is false; and
(c) the person makes the representation intending to deceive.
Maximum penalty: 200 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years.
(2) Strict liability applies to subsection (1)(b).
