Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A police officer may require the holder of a firearms armourer licence, or a partner or employee of the holder, to produce a firearm in his or her possession or a record required to be kept under this Act.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months.
(2) A police officer may:
(a) examine a record mentioned in subsection (1); and
(b) make copies of, or take extracts from, the record; and
(c) retain the record for such reasonable period as the officer thinks fit.
