(1) An authorised officer may apply to a Local Court Judge for a search warrant if the authorised officer has reasonable grounds for believing that an offence against this Act or the Regulations has been or is being committed on premises.
(2) A Local Court Judge to whom an application is made under subsection (1) may, if satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for doing so, issue a search warrant authorising the authorised officer named in the warrant, when accompanied by a member of the Police Force and the other persons (if any) named in the warrant to:
(a) enter the premises concerned; and
(b) search the premises for evidence of the commission of an offence against this Act or the Regulations.
