LEGACY MINES REMEDIATION ACT 2023 - SECT 12

    (1)     The mining remediation levy is a tax in relation to mining activities that is levied for the purpose of providing revenue:

        (a)     for the Fund; and

        (b)     for the effective administration of this Act.

    (2)     The regulations may provide for matters in relation to the levy.
