Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Law Society may make a compensation order before starting proceedings in the Disciplinary Tribunal in relation to a complaint, if satisfied the Australian legal practitioner against whom the complaint is made is likely to be found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct or professional misconduct.
(2) The Tribunal may make a compensation order if it has found an Australian legal practitioner guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct or professional misconduct in relation to the complaint.
