Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated ActsThe objects of this Act are to protect the safety, health and welfare of the people of the Territory and the environment in which they live by prohibiting:
(a) the construction or operation of a nuclear waste storage facility in the Territory; and
(b) the transportation of nuclear waste into the Territory for storage at a nuclear waste storage facility in the Territory.
