PASTORAL LAND ACT 1992 - SECT 67

    (1)     A person commits an offence if:

        (a)     the person intentionally enters into a lease transaction; and

        (b)     the Minister does not consent to the transaction.

Maximum penalty:     For an individual – 40 penalty units.

    For a body corporate – 650 penalty units.

    (2)     Strict liability applies to subsection (1)(b).
