Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Minister or a member of the Board, or a person authorised in writing by the Minister or the Board, may at any time, after giving reasonable notice to the owner, occupier or person apparently in charge of the land, enter on pastoral land (other than a homestead on the land, unless with the permission of the lessee) for the purpose of giving effect to, or carrying out a function or exercising a power under, this Act, or for the purpose of assessing the land in connection with the preparation of an application under Part 8.
(2) A person authorised by the Minister or the Board for the purposes of subsection (1) shall, on demand, show a copy of his or her written authority to the owner, occupier or person apparently in charge of the pastoral land.
