Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated ActsWhere, a licensee becomes aware that damage has occurred to a package or container containing radioactive material on his licensed premises, he shall:
(a) forthwith notify an inspector of that fact;
(b) obey such instructions as an inspector may give; and
(c) take all reasonable steps to prevent access to the package, container and material or the vicinity of the package, container and material by any person unless that person is authorized by an inspector to have such access.
Maximum penalty: 40 penalty units and, in addition, 4 penalty units for each day during which the offence continues.
