Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A court that has imposed a non-association order or place restriction order on an offender must ensure all reasonable steps are taken to explain to the offender (in language the offender can readily understand):
(a) the offender's obligations under the order; and
(b) the consequences of not complying with the order.
(2) The order is not invalidated by a failure to comply with subsection (1).
